John Haylock

  • John brings over 35 years of commercial, office, healthcare and institutional ownership management experience to Taylor Co. Over his professional career John has maintained a broad base of knowledge related to all aspects of the engineering discipline. With a team/mentorship approach John identifies efficiencies that lead to tangible results for our partners. Areas of expertise include acquisitions and dispositions, redevelopments, engineering operations, central mechanical plant operations, large scale capital improvements and energy performance.

Ulf Bergner

Claire Santamaria

  • With over 25 years in commercial real estate, Claire is a respected leader known for operational excellence and collaborative leadership. She has overseen a $3.5 B retail complex, led teams of 200+, and has deep expertise in strategy, development projects, site planning, and sales performance. Claire also brings executive HR leadership experience and is committed to mentoring future industry leaders. She serves on the Baycrest Foundation Board as Chair of the Talent Strategy Committee and a member of its Executive Leadership Team.

Allan Taylor

  • Before founding Taylor Co., Allan spent 30 years in progressively senior roles at leading national commercial real estate advisors and managers, including Cushman & Wakefield, Oxford Properties, Bentall and Redbourne. A relationship builder, Allan is known for leasing properties to 100% occupancy and his extensive network in the real estate brokerage community. He brings a consistent track record of creating value for property owners, pension funds and private wealth.

Thien Nguyen

  • Thien has over 12 years of leadership experience at Oxford Properties Group, overseeing various shopping centers including STC (Scarborough Town Centre). Thien excels in building teams, creating value, and ensuring operational excellence. She holds a BCom. from Ryerson University, with expertise in Marketing and Finance, and has industry certifications such as RPA and CSM. She actively supports the real estate sector and advocates for Women in Leadership and the next generation.

Ron Seftel

  • Ron brings 30+ years of strategic planning, finance and operations experience to Taylor Co.

    Ron has spent the past 15 years in senior executive roles within the Cleantech industry as CFO of Parity Inc. and as CEO/CFO of Bullfrog Power, Canada’s leading renewable energy provider. During that time, he was focused on helping organizations and property owners across North America lessen their environmental footprint to address their climate change impact and contributed to several industry initiatives such as CaGBC’s Zero Carbon Building Standard aRon brings 30+ years of strategic planning, finance and operations experience to Taylor Co.

Sam Barbieri

  • Sam joined Taylor Co on January 1st, 2026, as Executive Team Lead - Investment and Asset Management. 

    Prior to joining Taylor Co, he was employed by the Canadian division of a global real estate asset manager, in various senior-level roles. During his 19.5-year tenure with this firm, Sam was a key member of the team that built and delivered various investment vehicles to market, including value-add and core investment funds. He has extensive experience structuring new vehicles and managing institutional-grade real estate investments. He has a proven track record across transactions, development, sustainability, portfolio management, capital raising, and value creation strategies spanning multiple property types and market cycles.

    Sam is a graduate of the University of Toronto (BA, economics), University of BC (Urban Land Economics Diploma), and Harvard University (Post-graduate Program in Real Estate)

    He has been married to his wife for thirty years and is the proud father of two adult daughters.

Greg Taylor

  • Greg is formerly the Vice President, Real Estate Management of Square One Shopping Centre managing a team of over 250 people and possesses 20 years of strategic management experience in a wide range of retail and office real estate and community spaces. Through his progressive experience at leading organizations including O&Y Enterprise, Ivanhoe Cambridge and Oxford Properties, Greg developed and maintained exceptional relationships with family owners, large retailers, co-ownerships, and institutional investors within many markets, including Ottawa. His reputation as a future-focused leader and change maker have played a key role in transforming Square One into the premier shopping centre in Canada.
